November 28, 2021, "Close to Home: Homesick", Rev. Hardy H. Kim New to SVPC? Connect with us: https://bit.ly/Connect-with-SunnyvalePres Theme for the Day: “Kin-dom became the language [Ada María Isasi-Díaz] used to describe God’s libertad, the liberation of God at work among people, the good news for those who suffer at the hands of kings. Isasi-Díaz dedicated her life to the work of mujerista theology, where the center of theological study is borne from the experience of Latinas. She wrote that, for Latinas, this liberation emerges from opening up space where love invites us into kinship, invites us to join others at a table that grows. Liberation is found not in hope deferred to another world, to life after death, but what can be created now.” Melissa Florer-Bixler, “The Kin-dom of Christ,” sojo.net, Nov 20, 2018 Today’s scripture: Luke 21:25-36 https://bible.oremus.org/?ql=501421008 CCLI streaming license #20012952 OneLicense.net streaming/podcast license #A-706367 Christian Copyright Solutions worshipcast license #12713 Graphic images © A Sanctified Art sanctifiedart.org
