Welcome to Children's Ministry!

Sundays at 10 am

6 months–2 years (Child care)

Our staff and volunteers look forward to welcoming your children! The nursery room is open during our regular Sunday worship so you can attend the service.

3s, 4s, and kinders (STARS)

Your children will learn about Jesus in a loving and safe environment through age-appropriate activities. (On All-Ages worship Sundays, children from STARS are invited to attend child care if they wish.)

1st–5th grade (Children's Church)

Our Children's Church program strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for children to learn about Jesus and the Bible in a fun atmosphere filled with games, crafts, service projects, and even movie time!

A Safe Environment

All clergy, staff and volunteers that interact with children and youth have been screened and trained through our Safe Church Program.

Safe Church Policy

Children are (always!) welcome in worship.

At Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, we welcome children of all ages as Jesus did — including the sounds and activities that accompany them! Our sanctuary includes a number of spaces, called "praygrounds," designed for children to experience and participate in worship.

All-Ages Worship

Typically the first Sunday of the month and all Sundays in August, all children worship in the sanctuary with their families. Child care is available for ages 6 months to kindergarten.

Mid-Week Children's Programs

Monday Night (Virtual) Small Group

Grades 4–6

6:15–7 pm on Zoom (September through May)

Our Virtual Small Group (grades 4–6) is a fun way to connect with SVPC friends near and far. Join us for sharing, group discussion, and kids' choice games and activities. Email Children's Ministry to learn more and sign up!

OASIS

Grades 1–5

Wednesdays, 6:15–7:30 pm

Welcome to OASIS, our Wednesday night program! OASIS is a chance to take a mid-week breather and spend time in community with other children, playing, participating in activities, and sharing about their week and what has been going on in their lives. Come join us for exciting new activities and an opportunity to worship God through play!

Your First Visit

On Sundays, come a few minutes early and drop by the Welcome Table where our Welcome Team will help you find where to go and get your children checked in.
