Every year, 100% of the Christmas Eve Offering is donated to local and international mission partners who are serving the poor, hungry, homeless, oppressed, and afflicted. The needs of these communities are overwhelming. The 2025 summer youth mission trip, CARAVAN, will volunteer and support these two San Francisco-based organizations serving people in the Chinese community and the Tenderloin.
The Mission & Service ministry team, along with our Youth ministry CARAVAN planning team have chosen two organizations to split the 2024 Christmas Eve offering:
Cameron House empowers the San Francisco Chinese community to build strength and resilience through family-centered programs. Their vision is a safe and healthy community where people learn, heal, and thrive.
City Hope is committed to the ongoing work of creating connection and care for the most marginalized neighbors of the Tenderloin while addressing food insecurity. Their meal programs are intentionally designed to be a dignifying expreience for the community. City Hope serves restaurant-style meals, where they seat their guests, call them by name, and give them the dignity of choosing from a menu.
You can donate in person during Christmas Eve service, or donate online. (Be sure to designate your online payment to "Christmas Eve.")
Thank you for being a congregation that cares!
