Our Sunnyvale Presbyterian community is dedicated to following God's mission by deepening our relationship with our neighbors who are in need of support, commitment and care. This year, we will developing and strengthening our relationships with our neighbors in San Francisco.
Youth and adult participants are going to spend a few days serving with and learning about the organizations City Hope and Cameron House. City Hope's mission is to offer radical hospitality focused on highly intentional relational connection by being the living room and dining room of the Tenderloin neighborhood. Cameron House, founded in 1874 by Chinatown Presbyterian Church, is one of the oldest organizations serving immigrant families in the Chinatown neighborhood.
Space is limited. The cost of the trip is $100 for youth participants and $50 for adult participants.
Youth participants will be hosted for overnight stays by City Church San Francisco. Adult participants will be traveling to and from Sunnyvale to San Francisco by van each day on Monday, April 14 and Tuesday April 15. Please expect to spend the entire day in the city.
