Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. We provide child care (ages 6 months–2 years old), our STARS program (ages 3 years–kindergarten), and Children's Church (1st–5th grade.) Your kids will have a blast learning about Jesus in a safe environment!
Of course, children of all ages are welcome in our kid-friendly worship services as well. Just stop by the Welcome Table and our volunteers will help you and your kids find an activity bag and a comfortable space to sit. Typically the first Sunday of the month is All-Ages Worship, where kids worship with their family. (These weeks, child care is available for ages 6 months through kindergarten for those who wish.)
ROOTED IN CHRIST,
REACHING OUT IN LOVE

Children's programs meet Sundays at 10 am:
Kids are (always!) welcome in worship. They can sit together with their families or check out the "praygrounds" in the sanctuary — spaces designed specifically for kids!
Child care is always available during church for ages 6 months to 2 years. (On All-Ages Worship Sundays, typically the first Sunday of the month, child care is available for kids 6 months through kindergarten.)
Stop by the Welcome Table in Trinity Court. Our volunteers will greet you, help you find where to go and get your kids checked in.
All staff and volunteers are Safe Church trained. Learn more more about our Safe Church program.
Here's one of our praygrounds:
On Sunday mornings (including Easter) students in grades 6—12 worship with their families.
During the week there are lots of ways for youth to get involved. Jump over to the Youth Ministry page for more information about our vibrant programs.

We worship in the traditional style, with organ music, hymns, and a choir. Communion is served once a month and everyone is invited to participate. Children are always welcome in worship — we have activity bags prepared and special "praygrounds" where kids can engage in age-appropriate activities during worship.
People wear everything from casual to “Sunday best.” Come in whatever makes you most comfortable.
You’ll notice everyone wearing nametags. It’s so much easier meeting new people when everyone can greet each other by name! Stop by our Welcome Table and pick up a nametag for yourself.
God calls us to be fully open and affirming of LGBTQ+ persons. We embrace diversity in race, sexuality, gender, class, immigration status, ability, and age. You are a beloved child of God, full stop!
We seek to be a community that welcomes and affirms all. In that spirit, on May 21, 2020, the session (governing body) of Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church moved, seconded, and approved the following statement:
Following the risen Christ, and seeking to make our church a true community of hospitality, Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church works for the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people in the life, ministry and witness of our church and society.
As a congregation we are doing the work of listening and learning so that we can fully live into this affirming statement.
We invite everyone to help us build a more-inclusive and welcoming community by wearing pronoun pins or stickers. Though most people are cisgender (having a gender identity which matches the sex they were assigned at birth), many people experience gender differently in a way that is not obvious from their appearance or name. Just as it's polite to call someone by their preferred name, it is polite to refer to them by their preferred pronouns. Wearing pronoun buttons/stickers makes everyone’s pronouns explicit and helps to normalize asking and talking about pronouns, as opposed to assuming or guessing.
Learn more about why pronouns are important.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU
