Summer choir for Queer & Allies
Queer folks & allies are invited to make music together! All levels of singers are welcome. Even if you can't perform, we'd love to have you just come and sing with us! (Allies are people who support and celebrate queer people, and advocate for equal rights and fair treatment.)
There is no cost to participate and sheet music will be provided. We will specifically be singing songs that depict or honor Queer experiences. Some will be sacred music, some will be secular.
We will share our music at the Sunnyvale Pres Queer-led Worship service at 10 am on August 18, 2024. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7–8:30 pm at Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church:
- June 13, 20 & 27
- July 11 & 18
- August 1, 8* & 15*
*Singers must attend at least four rehearsals, including the final two, in order to sing in worship on August 18.
