SHARED GRACE: DINNER WORSHIP
2nd & 4th Wednesdays @ 6:30 pm
Community dinner & worship ("dinner church") in Fellowship Hall
Shared Grace is worship with an emphasis on shared community and connection. We grow in our understanding of God through conversation and engagement with one another, with music, and with stories.
We begin each worship time with a simple meal around tables where we share laughter, conversation, and connection. We move into a time of singing modern songs that are carefully chosen, theologically appropriate, and have spiritual depth. The speaker(s) for the evening explore how we see and understand God in the context of our lives–whether personal experiences of worship participants, perspectives from marginalized folks, or insights from poetry or readings. We usually have an opportunity to engage with this material through small group discussions before we close each service with communion (via intinction).
We invite you to join us through participation in this service. We also encourage you to explore where your gifts might be used—we love culinary gifts, musical gifts, speaking gifts, and general pitch-in-and-help-out gifts!
Looking forward to connecting with you at Shared Grace—2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 6:30-8 pm.
