Vacation Bible School (VBS)
at Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church

At Operation Restoration VBS, kids explore the bible and discover new ways to care for God's creation and for one another. Your kids have been given the power to feed, heal, forgive, pray, and rest—essential tools to help repair all that has gone wrong in theworld. They'll learn more about their mending powers at Operation Restoration VBS!

 

New this year—optional aftercare/music camps provided by The Music School.

 

Your kids can stay for Lunch/Sing Hour (noon to 1 pm) to picnic outside and enjoy a daily sing-along. Kids should bring a packed lunch and (optional) personal picnic blanket. All food items must be nut-free, and food sharing is not permitted.

 

Kids staying for the Lunch/Sing Hour may also enroll in our Music Camp from 1–3  pm. Enroll for the whole week or choose your drop-in days in advance by indicating so on your Lunch Hour enrollment form.

Who:

Entering PreK – entering 5th grade
When:June 15–19, 2026; 9 am–12 noon 
Cost:
  • Attending for the full week: $100 for the first child, $90 for each additional child
  • Optional extended care/music camps from The Music School
    • 12 noon – 1 pm: Lunch/Sing Hour: $50 per student
    • 1 pm – 3 pm: Music Camp: $200 per student
What:Includes materials, t-shirt, snacks (Please let us know on the registration form if your child has allergies.)

Volunteers

Adult Volunteers

Thanks for volunteering to help at this year's VBS! Please note, all volunteers must be Safe Church trained. There will be an evening VBS Teacher training, with child care available, (date TBD).

Youth Counselors

We invite older students who attend our church (entering grades 5–12) to volunteer as youth counselors. (Please note, if you will be in 5th grade in fall 2026, your parent or guardian must be a full-time teacher/leader at VBS in order for you to be a counselor.)

Special Needs

If your child has any challenges in large group or classroom environments that you’d like us to know about, please indicate this on the registration form. A Children’s Ministry staff member will be in contact with you before the week of VBS to confidentially discuss any ways that we can make your child’s participation in VBS more comfortable and accommodating. 

Safe Church

All VBS staff and volunteers must be Safe Church trained. You can read more about the Safe Church policy and specifically what's involved in the Safe Church training. Then email to register for an upcoming Safe Church training if you're not already certified.
