Women's Retreat is back in person!!! After two very successful online retreats we are now excited to be back at the Vallombrosa Center in Menlo Park for a weekend of connecting and learning together and having a whole lot of fun!
Only for people who live out of town or have health reasons/concerns that prevent you from attending in-person.
Retreat theme: "Great Expectations"
How do we curate and nurture cultures of care in our homes and communities? We do this not because we’re women ascribed the topic of care by society as a gender burden. We explore this because we are human beings, who happen to identify as Christian women, and want to support cultures of care as a practical approach to a functional, thriving society.
Speaker: The Rev. Annanda Barclay (she/they) is a queer ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Annanda is the Higher Education Chaplain Fellow, at Stanford Health Care and the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life. Annanda's focus is providing spiritual/emotional care to students on campus and research in trauma in STEM and ways to provide spiritual/emotional care to build resilience and support.
When not serving Stanford, Annanda enjoys affordable communal living, urban beekeeping, homebrewing, camping, backpacking and being with her 10 year old Sheltie/Chow pup Wesley James.
